Condylomata acuminata or what is known as genital wart is regarded as a sexually transmitted disease that is benign in growth and is commonly found around the rectum, penis and vagina. Papillomaviruses is the main culprit of this growth. In the United States, there are about 500,000 from the entire population that develops genital warts which proves how common this condition is. For the 20 to 45 percent of sexually active individuals, women are majority of the population affected by the virus.
