Chinese Birth Calendar - Gender Prediction
A gender prediction chart that is said to have been discovered in a remote part of Beijing the Chinese capital and currently housed at the institute of science in Beijing, is causing a bit of a stir around the Internet
The chart which is formally known as the Chinese birth calendar and sometimes referred to as the baby gender chart is said to be able to predict the gender of babies and making it possible to choose the sex of your baby even before conception. The Chinese birth calendar which can be found at this link Chinese birth Calendar works on the combination of the conceived date and the age of the woman,
What is very noticable is that the gender prediction for a woman of 21 years old who has conceived on any month other than January is predicated to give birth to a baby girl therefore if this gender chart is to be believed and if you are eager to have a daughter then wait until you are 21 before trying for a baby.
Given that the Chinese year is based on the lunar system the predictions made by the Chinese birth calendar can only be 50% accurate, if at all. This is equivalent to tossing a coin.
It has only been up until most recently that the Chinese people had a preference to giving birth to boys over girls, this alone would be a valid reason for the creation of the chart in the first place. Nowadays in China couples are only allowed to have one child and many still prefer the child's gender to be male rather tahn female, they have many theories and superstitions that they believe can determine the outcome of the sex of the baby, such as eating spicy foods for girls and sour foods for boys.
The Chinese birth calender at Chinese birth calender should in our opinion only be used for fun and should not be taken seriously. No matter what the sex of the baby at the end of the day it will be your bundle of joy whether it is a girl or a boy.
